Proprietor Paddy Lundy spent 10 years working in the carpet & upholstery industry in New York City and Westchester County, New York.  When he returned to Newry in 1994 to Ireland, Paddy and his wife Ann established the cleaning company, Eurosteam.  Their new business was profiled on the BBC News as being the only company in all of Ireland with a truck-mounted cleaning system.  Since then Eurosteam has diversified to provide professional care for all floor surfaces.  This includes the restoration of wood, marble, terracotta, stone, ceramic, porcelain, linoleum and safety floors.   More recently Eurosteam has expanded to include contract cleaning as part of their service.  Eurosteam now offer a full range of day-to-day and specialist cleaning services for hospitals, nursing homes, schools, hotels, retail shops and corporate offices.

As the business developed, emphasis was always placed on education and still is.  This often means that Paddy and staff travel overseas to learn of the latest technical advances.  Eurosteam uses the best equipment and cleaning detergents in the industry for all its jobs.  Being family owned and managed, we value our profession and the service we provide you.  Our aim is to be totally honest in all aspects of our business.  We would prefer to turn away business than make promises that we cannot keep.  The amount of repeat customers is testament to the excellent customer service we provide.

Finally, we could be described as Hi-Tech, High Quality and extremely Professional, but we would rather be known simply as a sensible and practical company doing our job for a reasonable profit.
